1968 Dodge Charger 383 2V V8 Auto

VIN XP29B8X220547

This Charger is better than it looks and is a genuine Black Plate Californian Charger not a back east hillbilly rust bucket. Charger has all original panels and has never had a major accident. Interior floors are excellent except for passenger front which has rust probably due to heater core leak. Trunk floor has rust but no major holes. Left hand quarter has had a repair and right hand quarter needs a patch due to rust. Very solid bodied Charger which has never been repainted in jambs or trunk. Under the hood it is all original except for wrong booster and master cyclinder. Options include factory air conditioning with all A/C components under dash complete.. Charger also has power steering and bucket seats and centre console. Windows are tinted glass. Note under the mexican upholstery still reside the original bucket seats. Engine and trans are missing but there are a few items in the boot that belong to this car -- Inlet manifold, exhaust manifolds, water pump, tailshaft and heads.
Best value restorer Charger in Aus.

Note this Charger is a triple red car -- Red exterior paint, red interior and red Vinyl top (the red vinyl top makes this only one of four made with a red vinyl top)

1960 Dodge Dart Pioneer 225 CID slant 6 cyl Auto

Original 6 cyl engine purrs like a kitten, auto trans shifts Ok. Dodge drives fine but needs a brake redo plus carby rebuild to make car a good driver. Body style is 2 door coupe with post, quite a rare Dodge and very reasonably priced. The Dodge has power steering and auto trans as options, original colour is green as shown, Dodge has had only one repaint since new. Minor rust to lower quarter panels near rear wheels - all body panels on this Dodge are straight and original with no major smashes ever. Interior is original two tone green and very original but needs freshening up. This Dodge would make an ideal family cruiser for someone on a limited budget. Note very minor rust and top body. Drop a V8 in if extra power is required.

1968 Dodge Charger 440 V8 Auto

VIN XP29G8B237308

This original 383 V8 Charger now has a hot 1968 440 V8 with correct 727 3 speed auto, power steering, power brakes, console, floor shift and bucket seats. Also has head rest option.
Charger was originally Burgandy now has an expensive Burgandy/Copper two stage paint job. Charger has an excellent body with all original panels and boot floor. Virtually no rust ever on this car, only a few bumps on boot floor. Black vinyl top and chrome are in good condition, the hide-away headlights need a new hose kit to make them operational. Black interior is in good shape and has all original materials, carpet is faded but in good condition. The period correct 440 V8 has a lot of hipo parts including Edelbrock intake, Holley double pump carby, coated headers, roller rockers, MSD ignition and electric fuel pump. Motor in Charger has low mileage and has the potential for high horsepower if dialled in properly.

Challenger has bucket seats and console plus rare rim blow steering wheel plus all options that form part of WSS package. Engine runs strong, car shifts and has brakes but front suspension needs work. Has original 14 inch Ralley wheels and all original body panels. Needs rust repair to trunk floor, top of rear window and bottom of doors - all rust repair is minor except trunk repair. Inside floors are good (see photo). Good Challenger at a reasonable price.

The following is a code option breakdown:

V1W = White vinyl top
V5X = Black longitudinal body strips

M25 = Wide sill moldings
M31 = Belt Moldings

In 1970 it was a version of the base Challenger with a package of options at a discounted price. It was released mid-Dec.1969 to the Los Angeles and San Francisco regions and all were built at the LA plant.
The fender tag option code for the WSS is A91 and the package cost was just $199.50.

to no hood treatment (i.e. no badges, paintwork, etc)

162624 = Production sequence number
E24 = 225 slant 6, 1 barrel, 145hp
